"Christmas isn't a season. It's a feeling." -Edna Ferber

Last night we brought the photobooth to Force 3's Holiday Party. We loved that we were able to do this event because this company is located in Bow-tie Booths new hometown, Crofton. Tis the season of giving and Force 3 gave their employees an absolutely wonderful holiday party! The night consisted of a cocktail hour, a heartwarming speech, delicious meals, more cocktails, dancing, co-workers bonding and photobooth fun. To Force 3- thanks for having us and Happy Holidays!

We brought the photobooth to the amazingly colorful wedding of Anjum and Amaan at Valley Mansion (Hunt Valley, MD). This couple was absolutely stunning- as was their wedding reception! It was a night full of  bright colors, speeches, dancing (including an awesome performance on stage by the groom and his friends), socializing, celebrating and photobooth fun! To the newlyweds- congratulations and we wish you many years of love and happiness!

The past two Fridays we brought the photobooth to Dickinson Jewelers Holiday Jewelry Premiere events at both their Prince Frederick and Dunkirk locations. The theme of both nights was "Roaring 20s" which meant gliz, glamour, 20's music, flapper dresses, gangsters garb and boas. Guests browsed the stores jaw-dropping jewelry and wrote down wish lists for the holidays. Everyone enjoyed cocktails, makeovers, hand massages and of course posing in the photobooth!

"Forever is composed of nows." -Emily Dickinson

Last Saturday we brought the photobooth to Lee and Emily's Wedding reception at Bowles Farm (Clements, MD). This rustic venue was decked out in burlap, lace and tons of homemade fabric flowers. So many personal touches! Favors included take-home custom koozies, labeled mason jars for drinks and muslin bags with coffee beans. Emily also had me design a custom poster (pictured below.) All of the time and thought put into this big day really paid off because it was a truly spectacular night! With a four hour rental time and family and friends that know how to have a good time- it's hard not to laugh out loud looking at these photobooth pictures. It's nice to see a group that is so obviously ecstatic for the bride and groom. Congrats to the newlyweds and and thanks for having us :).

Thursday we had the pleasure of bringing the photobooth to the Navy Yard for their Thanksgiving luncheon. The event was organized for employees to have a nice Thanksgiving lunch and to help boost morale after the recent tragedy. We are so glad we were able to help capture this special event :).

"All that I have is all that I want." -Mae

Yesterday we brought the photobooth to the lovely wedding of Laurie and John. Their loved ones spent the evening dancing, socializing and posing in the photobooth. The couple had a wonderful photo display and scrapbook station set up next to the booth. Guests got so creative writing messages, using stickers and cutting up and displaying their photobooth prints on the pages. Congrats to these newlyweds and thanks for having us!

"I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once." -John Green

This past Saturday we brought the photobooth to the Katie & Matt's Wedding reception at The Mathwig Estate Event Barn (Thurmont, MD). Katie and Matt couldn't have asked for a better November evening. Set among hills and a scenic backdrop, this barn venue is absolutely gorgeous. As if the setting itself wasn't perfect- the weather was great and the fall leaves were more vibrant than ever! I loved working with this couple. They are very creative and Katie was my first bride to design her own photobooth graphic! Their unique style shone through at their wedding and I heard a couple of their guests say "This is so them!" There were so many personal touches- my favorite being the quilts they had set out for anyone that was chilly. Many wrapped themselves in their quilts as they made their way to the cute little food truck parked outside of the barn. Not to mention, everyone loved the guy in a chicken costume handing out jello shots, haha! To Katie & Matt- congrats and we thank you for letting us help capture your big day :).

“The minute I heard my first love story I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along.” -The Essential Rumi

Last Saturday we brought the photobooth to help celebrate the marriage of Courtney and Mike at St. Joseph Parish Hall (Pomfret, MD.) The maid of honor set the tone for a fun-loving night when she sang her own rendition of "Love Story" by Taylor Swift. The best friend sang lyrics about funny moments in her and Courtney's friendship and lead into Christmas morning when Mike proposed. She had the whole crowd roaring as the bride wiped away tears (though they may have been from laughing so hard.) Congrats to these awesome newlyweds and thanks for having us!

Last Saturday we brought the booth to Matan's dog-themed Bar Mitzvah. The photos turned out extra creative with this silly group! Everyone made sure to get plenty of funny group shots and some even acted out skits in the photobooth. We're happy we were able to help capture Matan's celebration. He will be able to look back at these photos for years to come :).

"Cut out all the ropes and let me fall" - Bon Iver

Last Sunday we brought the photobooth to Dennis and Sarah's Herrington Harbor Wedding. The reception was held under a tent, right on the Chesapeake Bay. The tent featured a beautiful crystal chandelier with tulle and string lights draped along the roof. The night was full of magical moments in this gorgeous setting but our favorite had to be the Father/Daughter dance. Sarah and her Dad danced to "Caledonia", a hauntingly beautiful Scottish folk song about missing Scotland. The whole room gasped at the start of the song. The brides family is from Scotland and the song holds a very special meaning to them. Things were made even more special when the two flower girls swayed to the song with their little white dresses, eventually joining hands with the father and bride and dancing together.  Many people cried and sang along. It was so sweet! Dennis and Sarah, congratulations and we wish you a lifetime of happiness.

"It's the little things that keep us together. Those little things will make me love you forever." -Sonia Schaad

We brought the booth to Holly & Nick's fall-themed wedding at Herrington on the Bay (Rose Haven, MD) yesterday evening. This venue is one of the most pleasant landscapes for Waterfront Weddings on the Chesapeake Bay. There were so many great details at this wedding but my favorite had to be the floral arrangements! They used hollowed out white pumpkins and filled them with gorgeous greenery, fall colored flowers with splashes of purple. They even let the some of the guests take home these masterpieces at the end of the night!  I also loved that this couple had me make a photobooth graphic that represented their two french bulldogs- so cute! Holly & Nick, thanks so much for having us and congrats!

"I love how you think of me without being told." -Bobby Vinton

This past Saturday we brought the booth to the fantastically rustic wedding reception of Meghan & Billy. The celebration was held at Scientists' Cliffs- a private community of log cabins located along the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. The community was first established in 1935 as a summer colony for scientists who were researching the lands American Chestnut trees. I loved this unique wedding venue! I also loved how the atmosphere was extremely cozy and felt like an intimate gathering of family and friends. Meghan & Billy- congrats and we are so glad we were able to help capture your big day!

"Love like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy." -Paulo Coelho

Krystle and Bill's wedding was set in the picturesque Historic St. Mary's City. We've done weddings here before and I must say it is one of the most beautiful places to get married in Southern Maryland! When planning the wedding, I'm sure Krystle and her mom Debbie did not plan for the torrential downpours that came through St. Mary's County at the exact time of the reception. Having helped plan my own daughters wedding recently, I was feeling anxious for them both as we arrived to the venue. I was happy to see that the atmosphere in the tent was one of a cozy and joyous family gathering. The rain and wind was blowing in through the sides of the tents, what an crazy adventure! When you think about it, that's how marriage can be :). The bride and groom were relaxed and happy, not letting anything take from their special day! I'm sure you will agree as you view the photobooth pictures, a great time was had by all!

"Love me and the world is mine." -David Reed

So far, September has had PERFECT wedding weather. Kalan and Mikiela were blessed with great weather, great music and a great group of loved ones as they said their I Do's this past Saturday at Martin's Camelot of Upper Marlboro. The couple looked radiant in white and their wedding party looked sharp in shades of orange and sangria. The night was a lovely celebration of these newlyweds full of photobooth fun, shameless selfies, and dance floor madness. To the newlyweds- thanks for having us and congrats :).

Last night we took the photobooth to Kimberle & Josh's vineyard wedding. Located in the Southern Maryland countryside- Running Hare Vineyard is full of rolling hills, stunning views and miles of meticulously kept vines. The groom's brother hired us for their big day and I think it's safe to say that his gift was a hit :). The couple had a five hour rental time and I must say- there wasn't a dull moment! These two have a lively and hilarious group of family and friends that took full advantage of the photobooth. Congrats Kimberle and Josh and we hope you enjoy the pictures.

This past Saturday we brought the photobooth the wedding of two high school sweethearts, Nichole and Derek. The ceremony and reception took place at the elegant Olde Brenton Inn, a historic inn located on scenic Breton Bay (Leonardtown, MD). The couple looked stunning, as did the wedding party in alternating colors of coral and malibu blue. The night was a lovely celebration of their little family and the joy of the occasion showed on the faces of Nichole, Derek, their family and friends :). Congrats to the newlyweds and thanks for letting us help capture your big day!

We had so much fun bringing our photobooth to Brent and Lena's big, rustic barn wedding at Bowles Farm (Clements, MD). The reception was beautifully decorated with sunflowers and red accent flowers. The grooms cake was in the shape of a SMECO truck with a cherry picker- the most unique cake we've seen yet! It was also pretty unique (and awesome) when a real life SMECO truck from Brent's work came to take a aerial shot of everyone in attendance. As you can see in the photobooth pictures, the couple's family and friends were ecstatic for them and in high spirits all night long! Enjoy these entertaining shots and congrats to Brent and Lena on their new life together :).

Saturday we brought the photobooth to the beautiful Historic St. Mary's City for Christy and Lucian's wedding reception. Surrounded by fields and historical buildings on the banks of the St. Mary's River, there is only one word to describe this place—peaceful. The guests enjoyed their meals as the D.J played soothing music. It wasn't until after the bride and groom's first dance that the party really started! What a fun crowd! Christy and Lucian, thanks for having us and we wish you a lifetime of happiness and laughter.

Yesterday we brought the photobooth to Crystal and Matt's wedding reception, located at her parent's home in Nanjemoy, Maryland. What an awesome place to have a reception! The celebration took place under a spacious pavillon with it's own bar. The kids played in the family's pool as the adults enjoyed a night filled with drinking, dancing, and hanging out. The Rollin's were wonderful hosts and made everyone (including us) feel right at home. Some of the highlights included a laser light show, fireworks, and a hilarious and creative choreographed dance performed my the bride and her Dad. Michelle and Zach tied the knot at the extravagant Old South Country Club (Lothian, MD.) The reception was held under an open tent on a deck, overlooking a beautiful golf course in the rolling farmlands of southern Anne Arundel County. Michelle and Zach looked gorgeous (as did the wedding attendees, what an attractive group!) as they celebrated the start of their new life together. We are glad we were there to help capture a wild night full of dancing (LOVED the greek syrtaki dance), silliness and laughter. To the newlyweds, thanks for having us and we hope you enjoy your scrapbook and photobooth pictures for years to come!

We brought the photobooth to Jessica & Michael's fun-filled wedding at the waterfront Holiday Inn in Solomons, Maryland. The wedding colors consisted of white, silver, touches of sparkle and bold splashes of fuchsia. Jessica gave guests 4x6 frames for their photobooth prints as her wedding favor. She even included a poem insert encouraging them to get in booth! We were very touched by the grooms tribute to his bride, an acoustic guitar performance of a song he had written for her. It was so sweet! To the newlyweds, congrats and thanks for having us be a part of your wedding day!

"Sometimes what you’re searching for, is right where you left it" -Sweet Home Alabama

On Tuesday, June 4th we brought the photobooth to Swan Point Yacht & Country Club (Issue, MD) for Buff and Faye's wedding reception. We met Faye at a bridal show, where she loved the photobooth. Buff called us afterwards, determined to give his sweetheart everything she wanted for their wedding. He told us that him and Faye had been married to one another years ago. The two even have a lovely daughter together. They wanted to get remarried on their original wedding date, 36 years ago. We swooned over this beautiful and unique love story and couldn't wait to help capture their big day. The venue looked classy, decorated in black and white damask with pops of red.  The friends and family had an awesome time on the dance floor and in the booth. Their daughter is getting married in September! Great things are happening for this sweet family and we are so happy for them. Buff & Faye, thanks for having us!

We had the pleasure of bringing our photobooth to Jeff and Emily's wedding at Hidden Creek Country Club (Reston, VA) on the 1st of June. The venue was decorated beautifully with lanterns on the table and Chinese lanterns hung from the ceiling. The wedding party looked awesome in alternating colors of plum and coral. The couple looked stunning and I absolutely loved their adorable and silly photobooth pictures together. They are some of my favorite bride and groom photos yet! "There is nothing more lovely in life than the union of two people whose love for one another has grown through the years, from the small acorn of passion, into a great rooted tree." ~Vita Sackville-West

Rose and Ricky tied the knot at The Hall at Huntingtown in Huntingtown, MD. One thing is very clear after attending their wedding—this couple is really loved! Having been together for seven years, I'm not surprised that their family and friends were thrilled to see them become Mr. & Mrs Thomas. I've never seen a crowd hold up so many handwritten chalkboard signs as props. While some signs were PG 13, most said things like "We <3 Rosie & Ricky", "Team Rose", "Team Ricky", and one of the groomsmen wrote "I love y'all, Ricky & Rosie." To the happy couple, thanks so much for making us part of your celebration and we hope the honeymoon is everything you deserve!

We brought the booth to Swan Point Yacht and Country Club (Issue, MD) for Jamie and Craig's wedding reception. One thing was clear to us by the end of the night—these two are perfect for each other! They work together at the same high school and share a love for all sports. In fact, they love sports so much that it was the theme of their reception! There was even sports-themed photobooth props for the guests to pose with. There wasn't a dull moment at this wedding and we are so glad we could help capture their big day.

Swan Point Bridal Show

Bridal shows in Southern Maryland have an especially comfortable, homey feel to them. Swan Point Yacht & Country Club (Issue, MD) hosted a delightful show featuring a small group of photographers, florists, bakers, designers and entertainers. The photobooth pictures of brides-to-be showing off their rings and being goofy with their bridesmaids, Moms, fiances and future Mother-in-laws turned out precious!

Thanks so much to Swan Point's new wedding planner, Jennifer for doing such an amazing job. Instead of charging us vendors to be in the show, she asked that we offer extra generous door prizes to guests. How thoughtful!

La Plata Bridal Show

We just love bridal shows! It gives us the chance to set up our photobooth and meet enthusiastic Brides-to-be and awesome local vendors. We felt right at home at the Charity La Plata Bridal show, hosted by Holiday Inn Express in support of American Red Cross. We even met another Mother and daughter team, Birds of a Feather Photography whose vintage-feel photography is amazing! We met some lovely ladies that recently opened unique barn venues— Flora Corner Farm and Weatherly Farm. We love this trend and can't wait to bring the booth to our first barn wedding this May. Last but not least, our favorite (and probably everyone else's favorite) wedding officiant and consultant, Mary Rahall was there!
A big thanks to Chrissy for making this show happen.

Mike and Natasha ended 2012 with a boom as they tied the knot at one of downtown Baltimore's loveliest wedding spots, The Belvedere. The venue features gorgeous views of the city and is home to grand ballrooms and the historical Owl Bar. It is fitting that this was the location of Mike and Natasha's reception, who not only had a beautiful wedding but also an absolutely lively and energetic crowd.
